may 24th - may 30th...it feels like summer

it is only the end of may but it's  feeling  like we're in the long hot days of summer.  the temperatures have been soaring up into the high 90's and coming down to low 70's during the evening and early morning. i've pretty much caught up with all my work and play, everything on target time wise.  i've started dancing again 2 to 3 times a week and of course yoga once a week.  longer days means more  uma time...and the the best part is  that i got a car seat for my car,  so that now i can easily take uma to the park, to see the goats, or whatever we want to do.  she loves her new car seat and she's begun suggesting outings as soon as i walk in the door.  another new development is that uma has been calling me on the phone  (with daddy's help) to set up a play date. oh what joy.

may has ended, and june heralds lots of changes.... first, my saturday morning yoga class is not going to continue through the summer boo hoo, so i'm going to have to find another class.  dhani is leaving for north carolina in a couple of days.  he's been packing and organizing for weeks now. i am praying for him that all works out in his new home.

though i  got a late start, i'm ready to plant the seedlings i've been collecting into the newly established bed.!!  don't have much room this year to grow because we covered all the beds from last year with grass.
i know it's crazy, but such is my life. so i'm using the old goat pen to plant veggies.  we roto-tilled and it's looking pretty good.

our tenants are moving out of the carriage house, they gave notice a few days ago.  i have a new work schedule...my hours have been cut down to four days a week.  i love change.  that's how i know i'm alive.  movement is life.

okay...so here's my week in photos. enjoy!
